La Berlinale nos trae una avalancha de prometedores títulos.
Mucha expectación, ésas serían las palabras adecuadas ante lo que nos ofrece la 63ª edición de uno de los Festivales de cine más importantes del mundo, el de Berlín. Desde su apertura con la esperadísima The Grandmasters pasando por las nuevas películas de Hong Sang-Soo (en España aún esperamos el estreno de la fascinante In Another Country), Ulrich Seidl (que completa su trilogía Paraísos, tras su paso por Cannes y Venecia), Gus Van Sant (que vuelve a trabajar con Matt Damon tras El indomable Will Hunting y Gerry), Bruno Dumont (en un cambio de registro tras la marciana y venerada por la crítica Hors Satan), Danis Tanovic (¿recuerdan aquel tipo que nos emocionó con En tierra de nadie consiguiendo el Oscar a la mejor película extranjera?), Jafar Panahi (que parece haber burlado de nuevo el control de los simpáticos ayatollahs iraníes), Steven Soderbergh (con el penúltimo film de su carrera, según dice él), Richard Linklater (culminando la trilogía empezada por Antes de amanecer), George Sluizer (que presentará, 19 años después de su rodaje, el film póstumo de River Phoenix y que nunca llegó a estrenarse), Bille August (seguramente muchos habréis visto Pelle, el conquistador su película más conocida) o David Gordon Green (¡¡¡El poeta del cine!!!). En definitiva un cocktail más que recomendable que paladear durante diez días en la capital germana, Cinema ad hoc estará por allí y Dean Moriarty os contará todo lo que suceda por las cercanías de la Postdamer Platz.
